Words of Wisdom

Change and growth take place when a person has risked himself and dares to become involved with experimenting with his own life.

What week is it anyway????

I don't know what week I'm on anymore, I lost count but I think it is around week 8....of the year that is, so that is what I am going by. So anyway. 11.5 miles this week on foot. 4, 1/2 hour work outs and a 7 mile bike ride to my parents house for weigh in. Down 2 more pounds as of Sat. Next weigh in is on Friday..............maybe I will skip the Oreos tonight :) In addition to my Portland Marathon in Oct. I have registerd to run, sorry jog............ ok so it is a fast walk for most, but a jog for me, the 5K at the Pear Blossom this April. I think I have a few friends suckered into doing it with me, so wish us luck.

I also wanted to post some pictures of Robby's first time using a REAL power tool. Alan let him use the Saws all (I think that is what you call it)to cut down a tree in Grandma's front yard that apparently, to someone, has gotten in the way of traffic???? Robby did an awesome job, was very responsible and handled it very well. I was pretty proud.

A few instructions from Dad......

...and he was on his way!

TIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMM....

BEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Hunters 3!!!

He still thinks he can hide from us this way. It never seems to get old though. Sooooo cute!

Hunter and Sissy. He sure loves her.

Hunter and Robby......up to no good.

Hunter's party with the whole family, we had to sing twice and he still didn't look too happy. But the cake was YUMMY!

Hunter had a great time, we celebrated twice, once with just the 5 of us and again with the rest of the family. Both times we had to sing twice to him, I guess once just doesn't cut it. Actually I think he just doesn't like to be the center of attention............that is weird, so unlike the other children. He did crack a smile once after opening some clothes from Grandma (the shirt had a motorcycle on it) :)

Week 5

14.75 miles this week, a sore butt and painful shins is all I have to show for it. OK and down 5 pounds. I will take it.
